Revisiting the Han River

Hey guys,

I know the last time I wrote anything, I wasn’t feeling quite alright. Sadly, I still am not. My mother arrived a few days ago, and before you’re like screaming building parties everywhere. It’s not all ponies and rainbows. Of course, I love them, but at times I feel really burdened because I am not sure how to plan or go about certain things.

Anyways, leaving my personal frustrations somewhere else.. The first day I took them out for food and went home. The second day we visited one of the palaces, and the other palace I wanted to visit, did not have any tickets to the ‘secret garden’ instead we visited the Han River; which is and still will be one of my favorite places in Seoul.

Yesterday we went back to the palace to visit the ‘Secret garden’ again, and this time we managed to get in. After this, we visited Mt. Namsan. It was .. decent this time. Today? Today I visited my morning class and then went to ‘Gangnam’ because there was apparently a picture moment there. After this we went to Myeong-dong and shopped just a very little (this is nothing compared to what I usually do); and moved on to Cheonyagni to eat.

As usual, there was a lot of commentary on the food. I love the food here, so sorry to say; you won’t see me looking for bread anytime soon. Not when I know that there are things that are at least five times more delicious out there ;). I am glad to see my little sister’s face though, and to share certain things with her.

Sometimes it’s really hard to listen to what three generations want and need, and of course there is always one or two people that will not be pleased with the plan. It can be a bit overwhelming sometimes. I just wish they remember one thing, that food is just a side dish on the big plate that life is. It’s not the main dish!

Furthermore, I do hope that they enjoyed the things I’ve tried to show them within this short period, and that they remember that complaining about whatever, won’t help anyone. It’ll just make me feel bad (for no good reason -.-).

On a happier note: I am going to chillax and just go to work tomorrow, and work a lot on my essay. It’s due in a few days and I don’t want to dissapoint my teacher by handing in something I don’t suppport.

We should have a special theme song for this, but; Block B’s new CD is coming out the 26th of this month (the normal version, yes) and so is B2st’s new DVD. Early Christmas present, anyone?

That’s all for me from now.

Hope you enjoyed the reading 😉

Love,

-Kirti
